Earth 101

Being that I tend to try to be a Man of Logic, Common Sense and Reality. Even if all the details or Facts are not apparent to me, there is the Reality that we are Guests on this Planet. We are incredible creatures, who are able to adapt and create. We can not assume to ignore the facts, that "Mother Nature" will cleanse herself of what ails her. Earth will survive, Earthlings?...we need to react. How in 2006 equal rights are still not a reality in the G-7 countries, let alone in the rest of the world, is incomprehensible. Countries produce up to 3 times the amount of food they need, and countries that today are traveled to on a daily basis, can have millions of sick starving people, without access to clean water is another incomprehensible reality. No matter whom you are, where you live or what you do, or how much money or power you have, if you turn on your TV, read the Paper, surf the Internet, walk out your Door, the reality of our situation is right in front of you. If you choose to ignore it...you are stupid. We should all be ashamed of our inability to react to Logic, Common Sense, and the Facts. Enjoy Life! Drink or don’t drink, Be Marry! Have safe Sex, but react to the real problems of the world! If you choose to waste your time, my time and "Mother Natures" time, we will die. Sorry about this Reality check of our situation people, but Logic is Logic, Common Sense is Common Sense, and Reality, whether you try to lie, cover up, classify, or ignore the problems, Reality is still Reality. Many Earthlings, One Earth. So the next time you want to kill that insect, ignore that garbage on the street, choose to insight hate and ignorance to others, or just forget the fact that we are all Earthlings, and our size, “intelligence” and comprehension of the universe compared to other life on this planet means NOTHING to “Mother Nature” as long as we keep ignoring the real problems. We are Care Takers of this Planet, not Kings, and Queens of it. So what are you doing tomorrow?
