Paul McCartney Rocks The House!

I was lucky enough to be one of the 260,000+ people on les plains de Abraham in Québec City on Sunday July 20th 2008. Having taken the train there that morning, and then standing in line surrounded by thousands of people for 12 hours, It was worth every minute!, He Sounded great, He looked great, It was an AMAZING show, he ended up snging around 40 songs, it was one hit after another, and he was playing some pretty mean Guitar at times too, giving us some sweet ass guitar. It was an experience not to be missed! I didn't even drink any Beer or hardly water because i did not want to go piss during the show and loose my spot, but let me tell you, that beer after the show tasted soooooo good!! and then sleeping on the park bench after until my train 6am the next morning. I will certainly remember this for the rest of my life, I saw Paul McCartney Live at a free concert on les plain de Abraham in Québec City for it's 400th anniversary!! AWESOME! Thank you again Paul!!

Just a note on the present day news abou the Conservatives attacking the Liberals on their Environmental records...you might want to practice what you preach. This Government let alone the last one, has not done anything worthy of praise when it comes to the Environment. You must learn to accept that we each have abilities and talents no one else does. Respect and admire others for their abilities and talents, but don't try to be them, be Yourself. Being that I tend to try to be a Man of Logic, Common Sense and Reality. Even if all the details or Facts are not apparent to me, there is the Reality that we are Guests on this Planet. We are incredible creatures, who are able to adapt and create. We can not assume to ignore the facts, that "Mother Nature" will cleanse herself of what ails her. Earth will survive, Earthlings?...we need to react. How in 2006 equal rights are still not a reality in the G-7 countries, let alone in the rest of the world, is incomprehensible. Countries produce up to 3 times the amount of food they need, and countries that today are traveled to on a daily basis, can have millions of sick starving people, without access to clean water is another incomprehensible reality. No matter whom you are, where you live or what you do, or how much money or power you have, if you turn on your TV, read the Paper, surf the Internet, walk out your Door, the reality of our situation is right in front of you. If you choose to ignore it...you are stupid. We should all be ashamed of our inability to react to Logic, Common Sense, and the Facts. Enjoy Life! Drink or don’t drink, Be Marry! Have safe Sex, but react to the real problems of the world! If you choose to waste your time, my time and "Mother Natures" time, we will die. Sorry about this Reality check of our situation people, but Logic is Logic, Common Sense is Common Sense, and Reality, whether you try to lie, cover up, classify, or ignore the problems, Reality is still Reality. Many Earthlings, One Earth. So the next time you want to kill that insect, ignore that garbage on the street, choose to insight hate and ignorance to others, or just forget the fact that we are all Earthlings, and our size, “intelligence” and comprehension of the universe compared to other life on this planet means NOTHING to “Mother Nature” as long as we keep ignoring the real problems. We are Care Takers of this Planet, not Kings, and Queens of it. So what are you doing tomorrow?

One more proud moment for Man. On April 26, 2006, an American Hunter by the name of Mr Jim Martel (Asshole above) shot a never before seen Hybrid Polar Bear in the Banks Island of the NWT, Canada. This Bear who's mother was a Polar Bear and Father was a Grizzly, is the first of it's kind found in the wild. With only around 21,000 Polar Bears left in the wild, you would think we would want to prevent stupid ass things like this from happening!
I guesse my point is just to think about this situation, and appreciate how sad it really is.

So, I have been reading that there are some people out there, who are protesting against the choice for the James Bond character, Mr. Daniel Craig?. They even want people to boycot the film?. Whats up with that?!. I have never seen him before, and don't know anything about him, but give the man a chance. Whats the prob?..he's Blonde? Ooooooh! / shut up! i havn't botherd to read their complaints, but i still think it's unfaire to judge the guy before the film comes out. I loved Pierce Brosnan just as much as the next guy. How he was let go, was not handled well by the studio! I feel for ya Pierce B.
So my thoughts of this decade, are to just sit back, relax, remember its a movie, and wait for it to come out. Then we may all complain, or rejoyce all we want.

Ok, so i saw AeonFlux and it got me thinking. Like the OreoFlux cookie it looks cool, and at times is really tasty. Unfortunately Like the OreoFlux, if you don't have milk it's not quite right, and this movie i think is missing the milk. I never saw the animations of AeonFlux, so i can not comment on the comparison. It has some cool ideas, and the acting is....ok. I found the action sequences a little choppy and the script,....well was not outstanding. I would say rent it, if you want to see it. I still give it a thumbs up, though a weak one. On another note, what is up with these people with night vision goggles watching everyone during the movie?....maybe if it didn't cost $80.00 to go see a movie, people wouldn't want to pirate them as much. give me a break! it was like going through customs to get in to the movie, and anyone with a cell that has a camera, had to hand it over to the theatre. These poor people then had to stand in line at the end of the movie for god knows how long, in order to get their phone back. stupid stupid stupid.
Don't expect me to cry, when your (usually) crappy movies can't make a billion dollars. FREEDOM!

Enough of this greed and profit crap!. This march took place in 32 other countries around the world, kick-ass! So my newest film review, is on a film i waited a long time to finally rent. I have always liked Bill Murry, 'Ground Hog Day' is still a classic. 'Life Aquatic is a brilliant movie. The characters in this film are not just wierd and funny, but very clever. The acting is really good. The choice of actors seems perfect for the parts. The direction and script of this movie is great, giving it a unike look and feel compared to it's competitors. There are some really funny moments in this film, and although overall i did not bust a gut, i was still caught up in the depth and cleverness of all the characters. I highly recommend this film.

If i had a million dollars

So i recentely saw Batman Begins. I liked it, it is my favorite so far. A lot of good Actors, in a somewhat more realistic Batman/Gotham world. So i decided that if a had say, a few billion laying around, and could get the Priory of Sion to train me, that i would have to be a Batman. Though James Bond type is still really cool, damn i don't know, guesse we'll see.

Mr. Robert Plant, a Legend in the music world, Entertained us here in Montreal last night. Amazing! i was maby 50ft away from the man, so cool, (i think he saw me!) lol. Anyways, it really was a great concert, he played a lot of Zeppelin, and new stuff, it just rocked! Long live Plant!

Ya, so given the name of my Blog, i figured i should get a picture of some trees posted. This lovely here, is a Bristlecone Pine. They are only found in the Rocky Mountains in the U.S/ they are the oldest living organisms in the world. One tree, called "Methuselah" is 4,767 years old, and has lived more than a millennium longer than any other tree, this is not the tree above. thats pretty cool!

So one of the things that interests me, are the things that are not yet explained. i.e. #1 is Crop Circles. Now if you are one of those people that thinks Jim Bob and Joe are out in the field with a plank of wood expressing themself, then you have a lot of catching up to do. Aliens? theres a lot of opinions. If you do your research just the mathematical equations of some of the designes are increadible. let alone the "art" of them. I'm trying to find out the message, what do they mean? ,Please don't tell me, that after the thousands of circles that have appeared around the world, no government has investigated them. Anywho, really interesting stuff! i suggest you take a look around, and try to find some answers.
